Command:lrs

Syntax: lrs <m|t|e|l|s|h|c> [<bearing> <range> | <Target-ID>]

This command displays a long range map.

Arguments:

  • m - MECH - displays RS units
  • t - TERRAIN - displays terrain features (buildings, trees, water, etc)
  • e - ELEVATION - displays the z value for hexes with a z <> 0
  • l - LOS - displays the line of site from your location. A ? is shown for hexes which are not in LOS
  • h - HEIGHT -
  • c - COMBINED - displays a the elevation of a hex (including 0) and colors the value depending on the terrain type (light green or light forrest, dark green for heavy forrest, etc)

By default the LRS map is centered on your current location. Using the <bearing> and <range> permits you to view the map offset from your current location by <range> hexes in the direction of <bearing>

Example:
Given that you are located at 100 100

>lrs t

Will display an LRS map of the terrain centered on 100 100

>lrs t 90 20

Will display an LRS map of the terrain centered on 120 100
